Top 7 Christmas Events in Dallas 2015

After the two years, we’ve had, this holiday season is the perfect time to get out there and celebrate. Celebrate our lives, our health, and our ability to start over again. One thing Dallas has no shortage of is Christmas events in Dallas 2015 across the city. No matter what type of holiday event you’re looking for, you can find it in our amazing city and surrounding area.

Our favorite places are doing everything they can to make sure these Dallas Christmas events in Dallas 2015 don’t disappoint. Many of them go back from previous years, but it’s fun to add a few new ones to the list. So, do you attend any events every year?

Christmas Events in Dallas 2015

1. Christmas at Gaylord Texan // 12 Nov – 2 Jan

We love doing it BIG in Texas, and The Gaylord Texan doesn’t skip a beat. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated and features events for the whole family. With over 25 events available at The Gaylord over Christmas, there’s something for everyone. Some of the Christmas events in Dallas 2015 at Gaylord Texan include Save Christmas with Elf, Snowtubing, Gingerbread Dec decor Center, Build Your Own Snowman, Iceskating, Old Santa’s Snow Throw, Breakfast with Charlie Brown, Merry Snoopy Scavenger Hunt, Escape Room, Elf Workshop, Christmas Wishes Light Show and more. Unfortunately, this year there is no ICE exhibition like in previous years.

2. Mass at DALLAS ARBORETUM // November 10 – December 31

Holiday at the Arboretum, presented by Belieant, has a new treasure sure to draw visitors into the holiday spirit: The vibrant musical tree, an animated 50-foot tree with more than 42,000 lights and holiday tunes fun. The festival also includes the Christmas Village, DeGolyer House with nativity art, and 12 Days of Christmas events in Dallas 2015. Holiday at the Arboretum features more than a million lights throughout the garden, highlighting the historic houses and the 30-foot tall spruce at the center of the garden. 

Inspired by European Christmas markets or Christkindlmarket, the Christmas Village is made up of shops and charming facades representing a picturesque European village. The Christmas village is gorgeous during the day, but magical at night with lighted trees, vendors handing out samples, and performances. 

Each home is tailor-made for the Dallas Arboretum, with the Christmas Village being the everyone attraction. Santa even has his own house and sleigh to take pictures with! Father Christmas is at home on certain evenings in November, then after Thanksgiving, he is available every evening as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Daily, and every night from Monday to Wednesday, beginning November 10, the community is invited to visit the historic DeGolyer House, ornately decorated by renowned designer Michael Hamilton, with a return back of the popular theme, Christmas Art. This collection includes hundreds of nativity scenes representing many cultures from around the world. After a visit to the Christmas Village, visitors are invited to stroll through the garden and continue to enjoy 25-foot-tall Victorian-style gazebos depicting each of the 12 Days of Christmas with updated characters. These glass gazebos look like oversized music boxes with mannequins and animals moving to the music and light.

3. TRAINING IN BEIJING PARK // NOVEMBER 13 – JANUARY 2

The Trains at NorthPark is the largest model train show in Texas with over 750 cars representing the organizations, families, and individuals that made this beloved event a reality. Since its inception, The Trains at NorthPark has raised more than $14 million for Ronald McDonald House Dallas (RMHD) and helped provide homes for 40,000 families with sick and injured children.

NorthPark is positioned at 8687 N Central Expy, Dallas, TX 75225. NorthPark trains are located on the 2nd floor of NorthPark Mall between Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus.

4. CHRISTMAS AT ANATOLE // 11/26 – 12/24

The North Pole Texas is a 90-minute guided interactive event. Families board the Peppermint Park Train to pass through the light display in Anatole Sculpture Park. The train will take guests to the Texas Arctic Welcome station to check in for their house elves. Children of all ages will participate in holiday activities including writing a letter to Santa in the Arctic Letter Room. Decorating cookies in Mrs. Claus’s kitchen, attending Elf Academy, making a doll plush bear to bring to the toy workshop, welcome Santa. s Magic

Marionette Theatre, play boogie at the Reindeer Dance Party. Visit the Arctic Mission Control Station and capture family moments with a Santa sleigh and snowball photos huge.

5. ENJOY CHRISTMAS AT FUNCH PARK // NOVEMBER 26 – JANUARY 2

Enchant Christmas – The world’s most magical maze. Christmas events in Dallas 2015 lights village – turns Fair Park into this festive season. Visitors embark on an unforgettable journey of wonder and wonder in Enchant. A world where Christmas comes to life… and lights up. Wonderful Christmas is weird and wonderful right down to the last snowflake. Head down the spectacular ice-skating route, and sample gourmet dishes from around the world.

Visit the handcrafted Christmas markets on your way to meet the great man himself and get started. A whole new holiday adventure in the most magical maze of Christmas lights. The world has never seen. “The Great Search,” Enchant’s original adventure. Takes guests on a journey to find Santa’s nine missing reindeer lost in a storm to save Christmas events in Dallas 2015.

6. DALLAS ZOO LIGHTS // November 19 – January 2

Take the one-mile trail through the Dallas Zoo and enjoy many magical holiday moments along the way! With millions of twinkling lights, elaborate holiday-themed exhibits, dazzling 3D light sculptures, larger-than-life animal lanterns, and more. It’s all about comfort. for your car. NEW YEAR – live video projection mapping will transform several areas along the way. The routes end in a larger and brighter Trusted Resort Village!

Marvel at the fascinating animal-themed textures, from lush rainforest to an Antarctic adventure; beautiful 360-degree light-covered tunnels; decorative pendant lights; and illuminated animal-shaped lanterns covered with silk. Park and stroll through the Belieant Holiday Village at the end of the driveway for pictures with Santa, snaps in front of a 30-meter-high lit Christmas tree, musical performances, and more.

7. CHRISTMAS AT DALLAS GALLERIA // November 19 – December 24

From the nation’s tallest Christmas tree to the Rocket Finger. From Santa Claus back to the region’s most creative and beloved photographs with a Santa experience. Galleria Dallas is where Texas goes to celebrate the season. celebrate. The Galleria has plenty of Dallas Christmas events in Dallas 2015 that you don’t want to miss.

The Big Tree Light Celebration is something you want to witness. Every show features Rocket Fingers, Galleria Skating, Back Break, and Santa’s Fireworks. Live performances from several fortunes of the nation’s finest figure skaters and local ice dancers. As well as students from the Galleria Dallas School of Skating. Which has the nation’s tallest indoor tree light display. It only happens twice – Friday, November 26 at noon, and Saturday, November 26. 27 to 6 pm.

Gather your little ones for story time with Mrs. Claus on Level 3 near the Children’s Playground on November 27, December 4, 11, and 18 at 10 am.
